The DeWalt 7.2- to 18-Volt Dual Port
1-Hour Charger With 18-Volt Nicad Battery Set powers the entire DeWalt line of
18-volt tools, letting users run multiple tools off the same battery pack. The
NiCad battery provides up to 40 percent more run-time than standard batteries,
and the dual port charger charges all DeWalt 7.2V - 18-volt batteries (except
Univolt batteries), so users need only one charger for multiple cordless
products. With this kit you can charge two batteries in 1 hour or less,
minimizing down time. The three-stage charging system provides maximum run-time
and extends overall life of the battery, and the battery's thermal protection
system prevents charging batteries that are too hot or too cold, which would
cause damage to the battery and a loss of run-time. The LED indicator offers 5
diagnostic levels to communicate battery charge status: charged, charging, power
line problem, replace pack, and battery too hot or too cold.
